In der vorliegenden Note werden die von \textit{Bliss} für das \textit{Lagrange}sche Problem der Variationsrechnung (Amer. J. 52 (1930), 674-743; F. d. M. \(56_{\text{I}}\), 435-436) entwickelten Methoden dahin erweitert, daß sie das sogenannte \textit{Bolza}sche Problem zu behandeln gestatten, und es wird gezeigt, daß die erhaltenen Ergebnisse die gleiche Allgemeinheit besitzen wie die nach einer anderen Methode von \textit{Morse} und \textit{Myers} (1931; F. d. M. \(57_{\text{I}}\), 596) abgeleiteten Sätze.
