This study is concerned with a flow arising as a sphere rotates in a viscous incompressible liquid in the presence of a radial flow of the mass from the surface of the sphere. The Reynolds numbers \(R_{\omega}\), R defined from the velocity of rotation of the sphere and from the injection velocity, respectively, satisfy the conditions \(R_{\omega}\ll 1\), \(R\sim 1\). The moment of forces acting upon the sphere has been computed; it has been shown that in the presence of the injection the moment of forces is decreased.
