Laguerre models of a discrete linear dynamic system are considered, i.e., state equations, as well as a difference equation for the expansion coefficients of the input and output variables of the system in terms of difference Laguerre polynomials. These models are used for approximating and identifying a system on the basis of compressed data in the form of Laguerre's spectrum.
