The paper under review announces some existence theorems for elliptic fibre spaces over a projective space. The construction is based on a generalisation of the notion of logarithmic transformation defined by Kodaira. A conjecture is also made on the bound of the \(numbers\quad m\) such that the m-th pluricanonical mapping (of an elliptic fibre space) is bimeromorphic to the given fibre space.
