The author gives many characteristic statements for separable Banach spaces which have a special approximation property introduced by \textit{F. S. Vakher} [see Dokl. Akad. Nauk SSSR 255, No.6, 1301-1306 (1980; Zbl 0482.46011)]. Also, the author points out several types of separable Banach spaces which have not this approximation property.
