The author generalizes some aspects of the theory of \({\mathcal H}\)- normalizers of finite soluble groups (cf. \textit{R. W. Carter}, \textit{T. O. Hawkes} [J. Algebra 5, 175-202 (1967; Zbl 0167.292)], \textit{A. Mann} [J. Algebra 14, 312-325 (1970; Zbl 0214.044)]) to arbitrary finite groups, here \({\mathcal H}=E_{\Phi}{\mathcal F}\) for some formation \({\mathcal F}\) of finite groups, so \({\mathcal H}\) is a Schunck class (of a rather special type).
