We present some result of lifting of the Gelfand Phillips property from Banach spaces \(E\) and \(F\) to Banach spaces of compact operators and of Bochner integrable functions. Moreover, we study \(C(K)\) spaces possessing the same property. In the lst section we prove some result concerning the so called three space problem for the Gelfand Phillips property, too. [For part I see the first author, Math. 7, 193, 405-411 (1986; Zbl 0629.46020).]
