On almost unified contact Finsler structures and connections (Q581849)

In this paper the authors study various Finsler structures on an n- dimensional \(C^{\infty}\)-differentiable manifold. The main results consist in the union of the almost contact Finsler structure given in \textit{Gh. Atanasiu}, \textit{B. B. Sinha} and \textit{S. K. Singh} [Finsler spaces, Proc. 3rd Natl. Semin., Brasov/Roum. 1984, 29-36 (1984; Zbl 0563.53019)] and the almost para-contact Finsler structure of \textit{Gh. Atanasiu} [An. Stiint. Univ. Al. I. Cuza Iasi, N. Ser., Sect. Ia 4, 1-4 (1983)], \textit{A. Buki} and \textit{A. Miernowski} [Acta Math. Hung. 43, 327- 336 (1985; Zbl 0054.53025)], and the determination of all Finsler connections compatible with the unified structures.
