A model is required to inerpret indirect measurements; the best fit between the model concepts and experiments is important, since an interpretation based on a model not corresponding to the actual measurement procedure can be quite erroneous. Here we propose a new model choice method and a technique for model discrimination. A computational experiment illustrates the performance.
