Combined free and force convection boundary layer equations for a viscous incompressible fluid pasting a semi-infinite vertical plate are solved by combining similarity transformation and perturbation. Zero, first and second order approximated velocity and temperature field, shear stress and heat transfer rate are obtained numerically. Prandtl and Eckert numbers are parameters in this problem. Strong viscous dissipation is shown when Prandtl number is large.
