Cardinal invariants on Boolean algebras (Q5891213)

In 1990, the author's book [Cardinal functions on Boolean algebras. Basel: Birkhäuser (1990; Zbl 0706.06009)] was published. Six years later an enlarged version appeared [Cardinal invariants on Boolean algebras. Basel: Birkhäuser (1996; Zbl 0849.03038)]; see the respective reviews for details. The two books stimulated the research in the field. Of special importance is a long list of problems which influenced the progress. Since 1996, many new results on cardinal invariants on Boolean algebras were obtained. The revised edition is twice as large as the first one. The author writes in his foreword that the book ``contains most of the material of these books, and adds the following: (1) Indication of the progress made on the open problems formulated in the earlier versions, with detailed solutions in many cases. (2) Inclusion of some new cardinal functions, mainly those associated with continuum cardinals.'' Many problems in the earlier versions have been solved. Here the author repeats the unsolved problems and adds some new ones. So there is a list of 185 problems.
