The Lvov school of mathematics (Q5894157)

This very interesting article deals with the ``Lwów school'' of mathematicians around Stefan Banach and Hugo Steinhaus. Originally written in Polish, the article was first published in German in [\textit{R.~Duda}, ``Die Lemberger Mathematikerschule'', Jahresber.\ Dtsch.\ Math.-Ver.\ 112, No.~1, 3--24 (2010; Zbl 1195.01026)]; the English version contains supplementary footnotes by its translator, D.~Davies.
