On the monotonicity of an optimal choice with respect to a parameter (Q5895123)

This paper surveys the literature on monotonicity of an optimum with respect to a parameter on a lattice, the best known paper being [\textit{P. Milgrom} and \textit{C. Shannon}, Econometrica 62, No. 1, 157--180 (1994; Zbl 0789.90010)]. A new result is Theorem 8, which gives sufficient conditions for the optimal choice mapping on a relatively complete sublattice to have a monotone selection.
