Comments on: ``Queueing models for the analysis of communication systems'' (Q5895209)

This is a discussion on the paper ``Queueing models for the analysis of communication systems'' (see [\textit{H. Bruneel} et al., Top 22, No. 2, 421--448 (2014; Zbl 1303.60083)]) and focusses on (i) on a short discussion on high-dimensional queueing systems (networks) in continuous time, and the use of transform methods in queueing theory, especially Laplace transform inversion, (ii) adjacent topics in discrete time queues, not mentioned in the original paper, and (iii) on some detailed comments on the special model with priority systems and correlated arrivals dealt with there.
