Bounds for modified Bessel functions (Q5896523)

Inequalities are found for the ratios \(I_{\nu}(x)/I_{\nu}(y)\), \(K_{\nu}(x)/K_{\nu}(y)\) and \(tI_{\nu}(t)/I_{\nu +1}(t),\) where \(I_{\nu}\) and \(K_{\nu}\) are the modified Bessel functions of non- integer order. In each case the range of the variables is (0,\(\infty)\).
