A quantized Tits-Kantor-Koecher algebra (Q5900840)

The Tits--Kantor--Koecher algebra studied in [\textit{S. Tan}, J. Algebra 211, No. 1, 298--342 (1999; Zbl 0934.17017)] is naturally connected with the extended affine Lie algebras of type \(A_1\). In the paper under review, the authors define a quantum analogue of Tits--Kantor--Koecher algebra and construct a vertex operator representation of that algebra on certain Fock space. The construction relies on a certain combinatorial identity of Hall--Littlewood type.
