Let f be defined by \(f(z)=\sum^{\infty}_{n=0}a_ n z^{\lambda_ n}\) with radius of convergence R where \(0<R<+\infty\). In [J. Math. Anal. Appl. 81, 1-7 (1981; Zbl 0472.30003)] the authors gave a characterization for the type of such functions in terms of the maximum term and rank. In this paper an example is given to show a similar relation does not exist for lower type. Also five theorems are presented giving various interrelationships among the order, type, lower type, maximum term, central index, and coefficients of such functions.
