The radial Schrödinger equation (1) \(y''=(V(x)-E)y\) in the case when the potential is singular at the origin, is studied, \(V(x)=\ell (\ell +1)/x^ 2+\alpha (x)/x+\beta (x),\ell \in \{0,1,...\}\). A difference method for the solution of (1) is given.
