On Eisenstein series of degree two (Q5903420)

The paper contains results on analytic continuation of Eisenstein series and on functional equations, which have the following interesting corollary: Let \(f(Z)=\sum a(N) \exp (2\pi i \text{tr}(NZ)/q)\) be a cusp form of level \(q\), weight \(k\) of degree 2. Then \(a(N)=O(| N|^{k/2- 1.5/(a+5b+10)}),\) where \(a\) is the number of even characters modulo \(q\) and \(b\) is the number of squares of even characters modulo \(q\). Details will appear elsewhere.
