\textit{S. P. Yadav} [ibid. 13, 458-465 (1982; Zbl 0488.42009)] proved \(\phi_ 1(t)\in BV(0,\pi)\) implies \(\sum A_ ne_ n\in | N,p_ n|\) under certain conditions on \(\{p_ n\}\) provided \(\{e_ n\}\in BV(0,\infty)\). We extend the above result to matrix summability.
