The author investigates the inhomogeneous positive minimum of real indefinite quadratic forms in many variables. Following closely an approach of \textit{G. L. Watson} [Proc. Lond. Math. Soc., III. Ser. 12, 564-576 (1962; Zbl 0107.041)], she obtains an improvement of the previously known estimates.
