The prime object of this book is to put into the hands of research workers, and especially of biologists, the means of applying statistical tests accurately to numerical data accumulated in their own laboratories or available in the literature. This book is considered by some to be one of the 20th century's most influential books on statistical methods. Besprechung: E. S. Pearson, Science Progress 20, 733-734. \url{http://www.economics.soton.ac.uk/staff/aldrich/fisherguide/esp.htm}. The 1st edition of the Statistical Methods was widely reviewed. 6 other reviews are also available. (see links on the same website).
