This book offers a world of insight into the building blocks of our universe and the forces which govern them. It contains eighteen chapters covering almost all the topics in particle physics. Starting with the wave particle duality concepts, the author proceeds to discuss topics like quantization of fields, symmetry, propagators and virtual particles, renormalization, conservation of charge, electroweak force, symmetry breaking, strong force and quantum chromo dynamics and gravity as a field. A good number of references are also given for additional reading. Overall a very useful introductory book for particle physicists.
