The authors investigate the generalized Hyers-Ulam stability of homomorphisms and derivations in proper \(JCQ^{\ast}\)-triples associated with the functional equation \(\frac{1}{k} f(kx+ky+kz)=f(x)+f(y)+f(z)\) for a fixed positive integer \(k\) by using the fixed point method.
