The authors describe the development of a combined finite difference/finite volume scheme using a non-orthogonal C-grid for numerical approximation of Reynolds-averaged Navier-Stokes equations. Thereby, a comparison is shown for the algebraic zero-equation model of Baldwin and Lomax, and for one-dimensional models of Baldwin and Barth and Spalart and Allmaras in the context of real life applications.
