In the paper under review it is shown that the Riemann zeta-function \(\zeta(\sigma+it)\) does not vanish in NEWLINE\[NEWLINE\sigma>1-{1\over 952(\log t)^{2/3}(\log\log t)^{1/3}},\quad |t|\geq 3.NEWLINE\]NEWLINE This explicit zero-free region is obtained by the Vinogradov-Korobov method.
