There are many algorithms of using of control nets for constructing spline surfaces as a polyhedron. If the polyhedron is given it means that the kind of the surface and its approximate position are fixed. A simple algorithm of giving of the oriented surface of an arbitrary topology is presented in the article. The control net can be found by division of the canonical development of the surface and by transformation of the canonical development in equivalent one which is more visualized than the previous one.
