    To investigate the influence of edge-boundary conditions in the title problems, the authors use a mathematical model based on the shear theory of Love-type. The analysis employs the Ritz method with complete functional basis formed by orthogonal polynomials. The results are verified through comparisons with the corresponding classical results.
