The author proves theorems on necessary and sufficient conditions satisfied by a monotonic non-increasing sequence of constants in order to have \(\sum a_n\varepsilon_n\) summable \(|\overline N,p_n|_k\) whenever \(\sum a_n\) is summable \(|C,\alpha |_k\). In fact the author generalizes results of \textit{S. M. Mazhar} [On the absolute summability factors of infinite series, Tohoku Math. J., II. Ser. 23, 433-451 (1971; Zbl 0227.40005)].
