Summary: In [Proc. 23rd Conf. on Geometry and Topology, Cluj-Napoca, Romania, Sept. 27-29, 1993. Cluj-Napoca: ``Babeş-Bolyai'' Univ., Fac. Math. Comput. Sci., 27-29 (1994; Zbl 0846.54012)] \textit{T. Bânzaru} introduced the concept of regular-uniform (or \(r\)-uniform) convergence on a family of functions. The author discusses the relationship between this topology and the open-open topology, which was described in [Int. J. Math. Math. Sci. 16, No. 1, 111-116 (1993; Zbl 0807.54017)] by the author, on various collections of functions.
