The authors study physical characteristics of a homogeneous gaseous sphere with constant adiabatic index \(\gamma\equiv C_p/C_v\) within the framework of general relativity. In such a configuration, the speed of sound has been found to be constant, and a dynamic stability criterion and condition for the system to be bounded are derived in terms of \(\gamma\).
