The author investigates the method of choice for computing the \((n+2)\)-point Gauss-Lobatto quadrature in a manner proposed by \textit{G. Golub} [SIAM Rev. 15, 318-334 (1973; Zbl 0254.65027)]. He shows that all elements of the quadrature rule can be computed explicitly. Numerical examples are considered to illustrate the effectiveness of this new implementation of the method.
