A Banach space \((X,\|\;\|)\) is reflexive if and only if for each convex cone \(\Lambda\) admitting a bounded base in \((X^*,\|\;\|^*)\), \(\Lambda_*\) is solid in \((X,\|\;\|)\). \(X^*\) is the dual of \((X,\|\;\|)\) and \(\Lambda_*\) is the polar of \(\Lambda\) in \(X\).
