A special system of two discrete two-scale difference equations; NEWLINE\[NEWLINE\begin{aligned} z_{2k} & =p\cdot z_k\\ z_{2k+1} & =q\cdot z_k+r\cdot z_{kx+1} \end{aligned}NEWLINE\]NEWLINE with polynomial solutions is investigated. Addition and subtraction theorems for the solutions together with generating functions are obtained.
