Piecewise interpolants on matrix Lie groups (Q5938923)

The authors develop a numerical procedure to interpolate on matrix Lie groups. Section 1 underlines that numerical analysis has shown a growing interest in numerical methods on Lie groups. Section 2 analyzes two piecewise interpolants based, respectively, on the exponential and Padé maps.
