Boundary value problems for full Navier-Stokes equation are widely used for numerical analysis of stationary afterbody flows for plane and axisymmetric bodies. Here the authors examine the influence of a cross slit on the lateral body surface on the stationary wake flow. Numerical solutions of two-dimensional Navier-Stokes equations show a strong dependence of the flow structure on the intensity of injection and on the surface temperature of the plate.
