Entropy estimates for transitive maps on trees (Q5939200)

This paper deals with the connection between transitivity and topological entropy. To this end the author presents various lower and upper bounds for a number \(L(X)\), where by \(L(X)\) is denoted the infimum of all entropies possible for transitive maps on \(X\). Moreover he shows that, if \(T\) is a tree then one obtains the exact value of \(L(T)\) for a large class of trees \(T\).
