The paper investigates the asymptotic behavior of nonnegative solutions of the initial value problem, NEWLINE\[NEWLINEu_t= \text{div}(|\nabla u|^{p- 2}\nabla u)-|u|^{q- 1} u\quad\text{in }\mathbb{R}^N\times (0,\infty),NEWLINE\]NEWLINE NEWLINE\[NEWLINEu(x, 0)= \phi(x),NEWLINE\]NEWLINE where \(p> 2N/(N+ 1)\), \(N\geq 1\), \(\max\{1,p- 1\}< q< p-1+ p/N\), and \(\phi\) is a given nonnegative function.
