The authors prove that each leaf of the symplectic foliation induced by the second Poisson structure of KdV admits global action-angles variables as well. To the best knowledge of the authors this is the first result of its kind, providing action-angle coordinates for a completely integrable system on infinite dimension with a nonconstant Poisson structure.
