The paper proves the following conjecture of Grünbaum: For any convex, compact subset \(K\) of the plane, if a family of translates of \(K\) are pairwise intersecting, then there exist 3 points in the plane, such that any member of the family of translates of \(K\) contains at least one of the 3 points.
