This paper concerns the boundary value problem of radiation transfer in an inhomogeneous medium with reflection conditions on the boundary. Under quite general assumptions, a rigorous mathematical statement of the problem is given and some topics related to its well-posedness are investigated. Attention is mainly paid to the continuity of the solution of the boundary value problem.
