The author studies special subclasses of hypergroups called polygroups. The fundamental relation \(\beta^*\) on polygroups is considered and the semi-direct hyperproduct of two polygroups is also defined. Using \(\beta^*\) some properties on the introduced semi-direct hyperproduct of two polygroups are proved.NEWLINENEWLINENEWLINEA generalization of polygroups called weak polygroups is introduced and the concept of permutation weak polygroups is presented. Finally, a generalization of Cayley's theorem is given.
