In the framework of time domain analysis the authors use the ellipsoidal set-theoretical approach in order to improve robustness bounds for linear systems with interval uncertainities. They show that, for such systems, the above bounds are indeed less conservative than that predicted by the interval set-theoretical approach. Some numerical examples are carried out.
