The author considers uniformly parabolic equations of order \(2m\) NEWLINE\[NEWLINE {\partial u\over \partial t} =-H u,\qquad t>0, NEWLINE\]NEWLINE where \(H\) is a selfadjoint operator. There are obtained estimates of the fundamental solution expressed in terms of the Finsler-type metric associated to the operator \(H.\)
