A Cayley-Hamilton theorem for the skew Capelli elements (Q5945135)

In the paper [Math. Ann. 290, 565-619 (1991; Zbl 0733.20019)] \textit{R. Howe} and \textit{T.Umeda} introduced skew Capelli elements as central elements of the enveloping algebra \(U(\text{gl}_n)\). The paper under review gives a Cayley-Hamilton type of formula for certain differential operators related to the skew Capelli elements via a natural homomorphism. As a consequence the author recovers an explicit description of the skew Capelli elements given in \textit{K. Kinoshita} and \textit{M. Wakayama}, Proc. Edinb. Math. Soc. (3) (to appear).
