Spaces of quasi-periodic functions and oscillations in differential equations (Q5945970)

Motivated by the Percival approach to quasi-periodic solutions of Hamiltonian systems, the authors build some spaces of quasi-periodic functions and prove their properties. The idea consists in adapting the Besicovitch spaces \(B^{1,2}\) and \(B^{p,2}\) to quasi-periodic functions. Several equivalent constructions are given, as well as a process of regularization of the weak almost periodic solutions suitable for the quasi-periodic solutions. In particular, the authors prove that any weak quasi-periodic solution which is essentially bounded is a solution in the usual sense and is Besicovitch quasi-periodic.
