    The author focus his attention on the numerical stability of numerical method for functional differential equations and discuss the stability analysis of the solutions of linear multistep methods applied to generalized neutral delay differential equations. After analyzing the stability behaviour of linear multistep methods for the solution of the generalized system of linear neutral test equations, the author gives the result that a linear multistep method is \(\text{NGP}_{\text{G}}\)-stable if and only if it is A-stable.
