This paper is devoted to the study of certain families of parabolic quadratic polynomials over \(\mathbb{C}\). The authors show that their associated Julia sets are of Hausdorff dimension arbitrarily close 2. Their construction clarifies related work by M. Shishikura concerning the boundary of the Mandelbrot set.
