The authors extend to the complex scalars \(\mathbb C\) the group representation method for constructing minimal isometric embeddings of \(\ell_2^2\) into \(\ell^{10}_8\) and \(\ell_{10}^{12}\). They also produce a tight 5-design in \(\mathbb C^2\).
