This paper deals with a class of variable order nonlinear one-step rational integrators for initial value problems (IVPs) of ordinary differential equations (ODEs) in an approach of globally formulating rational methods. The order equations and their solubility, the tabular representation of rational schemes and the behaviour of the stability function are investigated. Numerical experiments are given.
